Poker Cheating Devices
Online cheaters are computer wizards who are savvy in breaking the electronic security system of cyber online poker rooms. Their cheating device and tricks combine ultra sophisticated and sometimes undetectable systems. Their prime target is the computer used by online games.
Someone from Taiwan or anywhere else can see virtually everything that takes place inside and outside the game area including the player’s card. The wiz-cheaters can then manipulate the players if they wish to do so. Or, they can sell their know-how to some enterprising people. In Europe, one seller offers on the internet breaking device, which cannot be tracked down.
One security personnel reveals that gamblers themselves have recorded trying to cheat poker players using that device. The breaking device is hidden on a camera inside a pack of cigarettes. With that pack of cigarettes, one can read the dealers card. The signal from the camera is sent somewhere outside the casino. Someone on the outside works through the images and send it back through a headset device back to the player. Thus, the player knows the dealers card all throughout.
Mathematically speaking, it is impossible for a player to win every day. So, if for five days straight, a player wins a thousand dollars every night, then, something fishy is going on. It does not take a genius to figure out that something is not alright.
Some of the cheaters are using the cached system. With some help from a woman, a gambler is cached. The woman pretends to offer the player a drink, then touches a pack of cigarettes. The player pretends to get pissed off. As expected, the player is able to arrange the pack on the poker table right away. The security system will not readily detect what just happened and some erroneous activities by might be mistaken for some trivial social interaction.
They called themselves self-maniacs of the poker—these people who have been cached. Some of them have been left by their wives out in the streets. They said they find it hard to control themselves. Well, they are like poker virus. They take out knowledge, luck, and enjoy out of a pleasant game.
For serious poker players, beware of these cheaters. Don’t’ forget, they stay close to poker games, which involve big cash prizes. Smaller poker pots do not attract their attention. So, keep a smaller bankroll as a self-protection device.
